Seasons of Life
There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven.
~Ecclesiastes 3:1~
Thank You, Lord, for the many seasons of life. Thank You for this very season of my life I'm enjoying right now, even with the struggles involved. Help me remember that this season will endure for a short while, and then a new season - a new springtime - or winter - will come into my life.
I know this is because You are a God of forward movement, and as I find some enjoyment in this present season, I know that in the future there will be "a time for" what You have planned for me next.
Praise You, Father.
Winter is full of beauty and a bit of stagnation, as far as gardening is concerned. It can be tough; but it can also be full of wonder and excitement. That is the joy in Christ's creation! He will always see us through whatever we face.
Life will always throw a curve-ball our way...it's what keeps us on our toes and makes life unpredictable - and fun! So when we are presented with these seasons of transition, I pray we can all approach them as a gift from God, instead of a set-back. We will emerge triumphant if we can follow where Christ leads.
This devotional has been extremely moving for Cam and I as of late. I pray, in this new year, Christ will give you the strength to make it through and give you the ability to see beauty and blessings in every aspect of life!
Enjoy!
